Thinking about brow tattooing? You're not alone — most clients come in with the same questions. Here's the short, honest version of what we get asked most often.
Ask Us AnythingDoes brow tattooing hurt?
With topical numbing cream applied before and during, most clients describe it as a light scratching or tingling rather than pain. The numbing keeps you comfortable from start to finish, and most people relax through the session — some even fall asleep. Pain tolerance varies, but nobody has had to stop a session.
How long do cosmetic brow tattoos last?
12–18 months on average before they soften enough to need a refresh. Skin type, sun exposure, skincare routine and metabolism all affect longevity. Annual touch-ups keep the colour, shape and density looking fresh — those sessions are shorter and lower investment than the original.
How many sessions will I need?
Two — an initial session and a perfecting session 6–8 weeks later. The first lays the shape and base colour. The second refines density, evens the tone, and sharpens the detail after your skin has healed and settled. The second session is included in your package.
Will my brows look fake or drawn-on?
Not when they're mapped right. Natural-looking results come down to brow shape, pigment undertone, depth of placement, and the technique chosen for your skin type. We aim for “you, with better brows” — not “you, with brows drawn on.”
Can you cover up old microblading or a previous brow tattoo?
In most cases, yes — it’s one of our most-requested services. We assess the existing pigment in consultation, choose a corrective tone if needed, and either tattoo over with a more flattering shape or refer you for laser correction first if the existing work is too saturated or too dark to work with directly.
Which brow style is right for me?
It depends on three things: your skin type (oily, combination, dry), your existing brow hair, and the look you want. Powder and ombré suit oily and mature skin. Hair-stroke suits dry and normal skin with patchy brows. Combo blends both. We map this in consultation — not over Instagram DMs.
How long does each session take?
Around 2.5–3 hours for the initial session and 1.5–2 hours for the perfecting session. We block plenty of time so we never rush — rushing is how mistakes happen.
